Summer in Charleston

I met up with Josh and Whitney last week while they were here in Charleston. They took a long weekend trip here from their home in Alabama to enjoy our beautiful city.

While we have had some relatively cooler than normal weather in Charleston this spring, the day of their session was the first day that truly felt like “summer”. Between the temperature and humidity we were working to avoid possible afternoon thunderstorms and made a call to start early, I am so glad we did

Upon coming home it started storming, but looking at their gorgeous session you would have no idea we were racing against the clock trying to avoid a storm.

I so enjoyed working with the couple. We chatted and laughed as we strolled and I showed them some of my favorite spots in Downtown Charleston. Even in the heat of summer there’s nothing like seeing how gorgeous this beautiful city is.
