When I’m not photographing families across Charleston and Mount Pleasant, you’ll usually find me with my husband, Allen, and our son, Logan soaking up everything this amazing city has to offer—and I’ll never pass up a gorgeous sunset.
I’m a Charleston family and lifestyle photographer living in the beautiful Lowcountry of South Carolina. Originally from a small town just north of New York City, one visit to Charleston was all it took to steal my heart and convince me to call this incredible place home.
These days, life revolves around our toddler, Logan, our dog, Finley, and making memories together. Whether we’re spending the afternoon at the pool, exploring a playground, relaxing on a Lowcountry beach, or planning our next Disney vacation, I’m happiest with my little crew. And yes—there’s always room for a glass of bubbly after bedtime.

Living in Charleston and photographing families in one of the most beautiful cities in the South is truly a dream come true. Even after a decade, I still smile every time I drive over the Ravenel Bridge for a session in Downtown Charleston or along the beaches Isle of Palms and Wild Dunes. Calling Charleston’s historic streets and stunning coastline my “office” is something I’ll never take for granted.
In 2016 I took the plunge and moved to Charleston and pursued photography full time and I’ve never looked back.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved photography. After studying photography and graphic design in college, I chose what felt like the safer career path and spent nearly a decade as a graphic designer. But I always found my way back behind the camera. Whether I was creating images for a design project or photographing a friend’s save-the-date, photography was always where my heart was. Before long, my weekends were filled with portrait sessions, and what started as a passion soon became the career that brought me to Charleston to serve families throughout the Lowcountry.

If you’re looking for classic traditional Lowcountry faire, hands down try Poogan’s. As a girl coming from the North that didn’t think I liked biscuits but they changed my mind! This is where I also fell in love with grits! Who knew this NY Bagel and Pizza loving girl could fall in love with Southern cooking so easily? The story behind Poogan’s is absolutely adorable too!

This is one of my favorite spots to sip bubbly Downtown. This is my top recommendation for all proposal sessions to go get a glass and celebrate post-engagement. Centrally located with an amazing view of the Ravanel bridge it’s a wonderful place to take in the sights of our gorgeous city.
