Charleston Senior Session

Senior sessions are no longer just about that one perfect yearbook photo! They’ve come a long way from just the simple black drape or tux top that we did when I was in High School. Prior to moving to Charleston Senior sessions were something I really hadn’t thought about. Since doing them they have quickly become one of my favorite sessions to capture.

Under “normal” circumstances senior year is generally a year full of stress and excitement. What’s next? What has to be done to plan for that? There’s Homecomings and Proms. College tours and applications. And don’t forget the normal stuff like, going to class, exams, maybe a sport or club activity. So much! The class of 2020 had a whirlwind delivered to them and I truly hoped that the class of 2021 would have a completely back to normal experience. Sadly, I think they had it worse, because no part of their year was “normal”. Delayed openings, masks, virtual learning, virtual college tours. This graduating class has had an experience like no other class in their generation.

The class of 2021 deserves to be celebrated! So when it comes to a Senior session I am here for celebrating these amazing teens who endured a crazy year but still wear a big bright smile excited about their future.

Miss Grayson was no exception. She was so excited for her session and she nailed it! From a great array of outfits including apparel from her soon to be new school, The University of South Carolina! We strolled the streets of Charleston one evening this week and just had such a great time finding gorgeous lighting while chatting away.
