Hey! I'm Lindsay

We had an incredible sunset to cap off a beautiful wedding ceremony.

I first met Lauren and Scott last fall while they were here visiting Charleston on a Family Vacation. Lauren’s family had a feeling this trip would be the trip Scott popped the question, and I anxiously shot their family session keeping that in the back of my mind. I secretly hoped he’d propose during their session and I would have the opportunity to capture it! While, he waited a few days more for a sweet night out in Charleston with just the two of them, I was no less excited when I received a text a few days later telling me they were officially Engaged!

Fast forward to February and Lauren’s family reached out telling me that they picked a date for their wedding and that they were heading back to Folly Beach for the big day! There was even more exciting news, they were expecting a sweet baby this summer! I was honored when they asked me once again to be their photographer.

I spent part of the afternoon with Lauren, and the closest ladies in her life, including her sweet Daughter, Alexa as they got ready. Once everyone was dressed ad hair and makeup were done it was wedding time! Scott and his family were already out on the beach near the Morris Island Lighthouse waiting.

Just before sunset, Lauren walked down the aisle, escorted by her dad to meet Scott. Her dad then married them, surrounded by their closest loved ones with the most gorgeous ocean backdrop. After they said “I do” it was onto portraits quickly before the sun went down.

Mother Nature truly delivered Scott and Lauren an amazing gift of a PERFECT evening, and I am so grateful for it!I already cannot wait to see them all again next year when they are officially a family of FOUR!
